Catholic youth camp helps teens find answers to life’s  questions

It is easy for people to feel confused and lost when it comes to  moral values 
nowadays,

especially in this age of multiculturalism. That is the reason the  Catholic 
Church in Taiwan has

been hosting weekend camps for teens for the past 21 years. The  camp not only 
centers on the

themes of real love and growth, but also helps teens find meaning  to life and 
grow in maturity.

More than 20 youth gathered at a Catholic retreat center in  Taichung County on 
June 18~20 to

take part in the “145th Choice Weekend Camp”. The camp  included seminars about

communication habits, sense of belonging, interpersonal  relationships, 
lifestyle choices,

>personal expression, and more.

One important theme throughout these seminars was helping teens  see life 
through a solid

foundation based on love. Youth at the camp shared with one  another about 
broken

relationships, forgiveness, and important life lessons or  experiences through 
that sure foundation.

This weekend camp also offered a wonderful opportunity to help  youth 
interested in Christianity

to learn more about it through different ministries run by  Catholic volunteers 
who were also

present at the camp to help out and answer questions.
