CORRECTIONS RE. NCCCUSA, "PASTORS FOR PEACE"

In NCCCUSA News Release 42NCC4/25/96, "NCC Head,
Church Leaders Express Their Concern for Lucius
Walker and the 'Pastors for Peace' Fast for Cuba,"
Paragraph 4, please note that four (not three)
others began the "Fast for Life" along with Dr.
Walker after U.S. agents seized 400 (not 26) medical
computers ....

 You might also want to note that:

 * Dr. Walker is executive director of the
Interreligious Foundation for Community Development
(IFCO), based in New York City, and founder of
"Pastors for Peace," an IFCO project.

 * The tent of witness was first erected in San
Diego, then brought across the country to
Washington, D.C.  The tent was dedicated by local
clergy as the Wayside Chapel of Peace and
Friendship.

 * The shipment of medical computers is the
sixth aid caravan with which "Pastors for Peace" has
embarked for Cuba since November 1993.  The group
has succeeded in delivering 1,000 tons of material
aid to Cuba.
