Roger Kruse resigns post

     Roger Kruse has resigned, effective immediately, from his
position as a staff member of the General Council on Finance and
Administration (GCFA) and business manager of the General
Conference.
     A memorandum from Sandra Kelley Lackore, GCFA general
secretary, to GCFA members informed them of the change April 30.
General Conference concluded late April 26 in Denver.
     The memo from GCFA headquarters in Evanston, Ill., quotes
Kruse's letter of resignation saying, "I have decided that I will
find more professional satisfaction in a full-time human resources
position."
     Lackore appointed staff member Liz Okayama to serve as GCFA's
interim director of human resources and Gary Bowen to serve as
interim business manager of the General Conference. Lackore
expressed her intention to evaluate filling the position on a
long-term basis.
