     A story in the Feb. 9 issue of "NEWS BRIEFS" (#96054) that listed 
participants in a Jan. 26 meeting between General Assembly Council (GAC) 
officials and members of the General Assembly's Committee on Review omitted 
Duane Black.  Black, a GAC member from Yucaipa, Calif., is chair of the 
Corporate and Administrative Services committee.

     Due to an editing mistake, the lead sentence in a story in Feb. 16 
"NEWS BRIEFS" (#96060) about Palestinians in Jerusalem did not convey the 
writer's intended meaning.  The sentence should read: "The words to Psalm 
137 --  By the waters of Babylon -- there we sat down and there we wept 
when we remembered Zion' -- have been reinterpreted by Palestinian 
Christians who live near Jerusalem but who are not allowed to go there."
