RICHMOND, Va.--William A. Prosser has been named vice president for 
administration and treasurer at Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. 
Prosser has served for the past four years as vice president for finance at 
St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, N.C. 
 
AUSTIN, Texas--During the fall 1995 recess from Austin Presbyterian 
Theological Seminary, Michael Jinkins, assistant professor of pastoral 
theology, and Stephen Reid, associate professor of Old Testament, lectured 
at King's College, University of London, and Ridley Hall, Cambridge.  They 
addressed:  "God's Godforsakenness:  The Cry of Dereliction as an Utterance 
Within the Trinity." 
 
LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Funds for the $1.2 million Henry P. Mobley Chair in 
Doctrinal Theology at the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary have 
been raised.  Gifts were received from many churches, individuals, 
foundations and corporations from across the country.  The chair honors 
seminary alumnus and lifetime board member Dr. Henry P. Mobley, now retired 
and living in Louisville with his wife, Anne.  Mobley's longest pastorate 
was at Highland Presbyterian Church in Louisville, from which he was 
honorably retired in 1981. 
 
CHICAGO--The Rev. H. Kris Ronnow, vice president for finance and operations 
at McCormick Theological Seminary, has resigned his position after eight 
years of service.  Ronnow's resignation will become effective when a 
successor has been found and the period of transition completed.  Ronnow 
plans to take a sabbatical from ministry for several months. 
 
SAN ANSELMO, Calif.--A one-day seminar for church educators will be held 
Feb. 15 at San Francisco Theological Seminary.  Bernhard Anderson and 
Denise Bowman will teach "The Creation Story and a Changing World."  The 
seminar is one in a five-part series offered at the school.  On March 21, 
the series concludes when Paul Maquelier Jr. explores "The Church and 
Global Mission:  New Times, New Call" and Karen Lemes and Rosemary Bell 
present their church program.  Single sessions cost $30.
