96138         Five PC(USA) Colleges Receive Grants  
                    to Improve Bible Teaching

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Five Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)-related colleges have 
received grants as part of a program to encourage and improve the teaching 
of the Bible by church-related schools. 
 
     The grant program is administered by the Higher Education Program Team 
of the National Ministries Division here. 
 
     The schools and the amount of their grants: 
 
          Barber-Scotia College, Concord, N.C. -- $10,000 
          Cook College and Theological School, Tempe, Ariz. -- $8,561 
          Hastings College, Hastings, Neb. -- $10,000 
          King College, Bristol, Tenn. -- $10,000 
          Lees-McRae College, Banner Elk, N.C. -- $10,000
