94506       "FORGIVE US OUR ... ": A CHRISTMAS STORY

     'Twas the day before Christmas and another family was at its 
wits' end. 
 
     Both mother and father were irritable from shopping and 
wrapping numerous gifts.  The kids kept getting in the way, and 
finally, when the parents could take no more, the children were 
ushered off to bed. 
 
     One child began to say her prayers.  In the anticipation of 
gifts and Santa Claus on the way, she prayed the Lord's Prayer as 
follows: 
 
     "Forgive us our Christmases, as we forgive those who Christmas 
against us."
