95236          NEW NCC COMMUNICATION HEAD TO SPEAK  
                       AT ASSEMBLY LUNCHEON

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Mike Maus, a Presbyterian elder who was recently named 
director of communication for the National Council of Churches, will be the 
featured speaker at the annual General Assembly luncheon co-sponsored by 
the Presbyterian Media Mission and the Presbyterian Electronic Media 
Association. 
 
     The luncheon is scheduled for July 16 in Cincinnati. 
 
     Maus is a former correspondent for NBC news and Minnesota Public 
Radio.  He served on the former Social Justice and Peacemaking Ministry 
Unit committee.
