21 U.S.-2s commissioned
at Tuscaloosa ceremony

     NEW YORK (UMNS) -- Twenty-one new short-term missionaries
were commissioned for a two-year term in the United States during
a ceremony at First United Methodist Church, Tuscaloosa, Ala.,
Aug. 11.
     They are Timothy Beck of Richmond, Va., assigned to Bethlehem
Community Center, Columbia, S.C.; Rodney Bennett of Virginia
Beach, Va., to McCurdy School, Espanola, N.M.; and Laura Bryant of
Montclair, N.J., to Calvary-Casa del Pueblo United Methodist
Church, Washington, D.C.
     Also commissioned were: Heather Carson of Clarence Center,
N.Y., to Henderson Settlement, Frakes, Ky.; Wanda Collins of
Jackson, Miss., to David and Margaret Home, LaVerne, Calif.;
Jennifer Coulter of Alcoa, Tenn., to Tampa (Fla.) United Methodist
Centers; and Deborah Davidson of Conyers, Ga., to Northern New
Mexico Group Ministry, Fairview, N.M; 
     Other people commissioned were: Susan Foster of Kings Beach,
Calif., to Neighborhood Center of the United Methodist Church,
Harrisburg, Pa.; Jay Godfrey of York, Pa., to Upper Sand Mountain
United Methodist Parish, Sylvania, Ala.; Camille Harris of Flint,
Mich., to Bethlehem Community Center, Winston-Salem, N.C.; Clayton
Huber of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, to Alaska Children's Services,
Anchorage, Alaska.

Woodbridge, Va., to Hampden-Woodberry-Remington-Mt. Washington
Multiple Charge, Baltimore, Md.; Kathryn Krautheim of Beaufort,
