96456              Correction and Clarification 
 
     A story in the Nov. 1 issue of "NEWS BRIEFS" about the AIDS Memorial 
Quilt Display in Washington (#3886) omitted some important information. 
     The Presbyterian Washington Office was involved in the planning of the 
display and Washington Office director the Rev. Elenora Giddings Ivory 
participated in the public reading of the list of names represented on the 
quilt.

     The story in the Nov. 8, 1996, edition of "NEWS BRIEFS" regarding the 
new curriculum partnership and resources (#3898) should have stated that 
action by the 208th General Assembly (1996) restored to the General 
Assembly Council the curriculum production and publishing functions that 
for the previous two years had been part of Presbyterian Publishing 
Corporation.
