                       C O R R E C T I O N

     On UMNS story #563{3277}, issued Nov. 7, 1996, please make
the following correction to page 2, paragraph 6. Delete the word
Iowa. This is a reference to the Nebraska legislature. The copy
then will read:

     "We were fighting casinos right up to the last minute," said
Pat Loontjer, director of Gambling With the Good Life, so the
group only had a few days to muster forces against the
referendum, which was on the ballot because the state legislature
had approved the measure two years earlier.
