April 17 teleconference to consider
end of life, quality of life decisions

     The discussion on death as part of the quality of life will
continue with a live satellite teleconference April 17. Living
Well, Dying Well: Facing End of Life Decisions will run from 11:30
a.m. until 4 p.m. Eastern Time. 
     M. Garlinda Burton, editor of Interpreter magazine, will
moderate a panel including the Rev. Donald E. Messer, president of
Iliff School of Theology; Sally Brown Geis, sociologist and co-
editor with Messer of How Shall We Die? Helping Christians Debate
Suicide; the Rev. J. Philip Wogaman, senior pastor Foundry United
Methodist Church, Washington, D.C.; the Rev. Joretta L. Marshall,
Iliff assistant professor of pastoral care; the Rev. Cornish R.
Rogers, associate dean and professor of evangelism at Claremont
School of Theology; and others.
