WALES: WOMEN ORDAINED PRIEST LAST WEEKEND

(CT) Ordinations of the first women priests in the Church in Wales took
place last weekend. Services took place in the Cathedrals of St Asaph,
Bangor, St David's, Monmouth and Llandaff on Saturday 11 January, and in
St
Asaph's (a second service) again and Brecon on 12 January. A total of 64
women were ordained priests over the weekend with more ordinations later
in
the month.
