EPISCOPAL APPOINTMENTS

(ACNS) The Revd Theodore A Daniels, Rector of Calvary Church, Washington
DC USA, has been elected Bishop of the Virgin Islands, Province II,
ECUSA.  He succeeds the Rt Revd Egbert Don Taylor, who has retired.

The Rt Revd Purely Lyngdoh, has been consecrated Bishop of North East
India,  Church of North India.

The Ven. Canon Moses Elisha Ponniah, Chairman of the Regional Council of
Churches, Johore Baru, has been appointed Assistant Bishop in the
Diocese of West Malaysia, Church of the Province of South East Asia.

The Rt Revd Anil R Stephen, has been consecrated Bishop of Lucknow,
Church of North India.
