BRITAIN:ANGLICAN BECOMES PRIME MINISTER

(ACNS) Tony Blair, the leader of the Labour Party became the new Prime
Minister of Britain last Friday (2 May) after a landslide victory when
419 of the total elected Members of Parliament were Labour Party
candidates.

Britain's new Prime Minister is an Anglican and speaks openly
about how his faith has influenced his political beliefs. The Prime
Minister's wife, Cherie, is a Roman Catholic, and the new Prime Minister
often attends a Roman Catholic Mass with his wife and family when he is
at home.
