     Isabel Wood Rogers, professor of applied Christianity at Presbyterian 
School of Christian Education (PSCE), has announced she will retire at the 
end of the 1997-1998 academic year.  
     Affectionately known as "Dr. Izzie," Rogers has been on the PSCE 
faculty since 1961. She is in wide demand as a speaker throughout the 
Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and was moderator of the church's 199th 
General Assembly in 1987. 
     A native of Tallahassee, Fla., Rogers graduated from PSCE in 1949. She 
also has a bachelor's degree from Florida State University, a master's 
degree from University of Virginia and a doctorate from Duke University.

     The Rev. Belinda Mae Curry, associate for policy development for the 
Advisory Committee on Social Witness Policy, was ordained as a minister of 
the Word and sacrament by the Presbytery of St. Andrew June 1 at First 
Presbyterian Church in Oxford, Miss.
