                Three More Overtures Submitted to  
                      209th General Assembly

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Three more overtures have been submitted to this year's 
General Assembly in Syracuse, N.Y., bringing to 78 the total number of 
overtures from presbyteries and synods that will be considered by the 
Assembly. 
 
     The final three overtures: 
 
Overture 97-76 On the Formation of a Korean-American Presbytery -- from the 
Synod of Alaska-Northwest 
 
Overture 97-77 On Establishing Ministries to Those in Sexual Brokenness -- 
from the Presbytery of Prospect Hill 
 
Overture 97-78 On Designating a "Year of Children and Youth" and 
Establishing Programs Responding to the Special Gifts and Needs of Children 
-- from the Presbytery of New York City
