                       Small Church Breakfast

SYRACUSE--A large group of small church pastors, elders and governing body 
support people gathered to hear a presentation on Commissioned Lay Pastors 
(CLP) at the Small Church Network Breakfast Thursday morning at the Hotel 
Syracuse. 
 
The Rev. Rebecca New of Southern Kansas Presbytery, chair of the 
network, introduced the Rev. Jan Fife, a trainer of CLPs, and CLPs Rachel 
Roberts and Tim Klasmick, all of Northern New York Presbytery. 
 
    In brief talks and answers to questions, the three explored the joys 
and problems connected with being a CLP.
