ON THE CAPITOL STEPS -- Young people from Miami pose with

U.S. Capitol in Washington.  Miami Urban Ministries, a United
Methodist organization, obtained an Ethnic Local Church grant
from the United Methodist Board of Church and Society to enable
28 young people from Miami-area churches and three adults to
attend a United Methodist Seminar on immigration and justice
issues June 17-19. Their study included meetings with Miami
members of the U.S. House of Representatives and other government
officials, conflict-resolution training and empowerment training.
