LADY EAMES RE-ELECTED WORLD PRESIDENT OF MOTHERS' UNION
Lady Christine Eames has been re-elected the World Wide President of
the Mothers' Union, the largest Anglican women's organisation, for the
next three years. When she was elected President in 1995 she was the
first woman outside England to hold the office.
Lady Eames has visited extensively Mothers' Union branches in Australia,
Africa, England, Scotland, Wales and is at present on a visit to the MU
in New Zealand and Korea.
