Episcopal appointments
The Very Revd Emmanuel A Arongo, has been elected the first Bishop of
Tamale, Ghana, in the Province of West Africa. The Diocese Sunyani and
Tamale has been separated. He succeeds the Rt Revd Joseph Dadson, who
has retired as Bishop of Sunyani and Tamale.
The Ven Thomas A Brient, has been elected the first Bishop of Sunyani,
Ghana, Church of the Province of West Africa.
The Very Revd Barry Robert Howe, Dean of Cathedral Church of St Peter,
St Petersburg, Florida, has been elected Coadjutor Bishop of West
Missouri, ECUSA. He will succeed the Rt Revd John Buchanan.
The Revd Charles Edward Jenkins III, Rector of St Luke's Church, Baton
Rouge in Louisiana, has been elected Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of
Louisiana, ECUSA. He will succeed the Rt Revd James Brown.
The Rt Revd Emmanuel Kolini, the Bishop of Kigali, has been elected the
Archbishop of Rwanda. He succeeds the Most Revd Augustine Nshamihigo.
The Rt Revd Stephen Kewasis Nyorsok, has been translated from the
Diocese of Eldoret to the new Diocese of Kitale, Church of the Province
of Kenya.
The Rt Revd Jermiah John Mutua Taama, has been consecrated the first
Bishop of Kajiado, Church of the Province of Kenya.
