    A story in the Sept. 12 issue of "NEWS BRIEFS" (#97344, page 6) 
incorrectly spelled the co- author's name.  She is Linda Post Bushkofsky.

    The bulletin insert in the Sept. 5 issue of "NEWS BRIEFS" (page 2) 
incorrectly stated that Jane Dempsey Douglass was elected president of the 
World Alliance of Reformed Churches in 1989.  Douglass was elected a vice 
president then and became president in 1991, when the Rev. Allan Boesak 
resigned as president.
