Moderator to Be Special Guest
on "Passages" Radio Program
by Jerry L. Van Marter
LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Patricia G. Brown, moderator of the 209th General Assembly
(1997), will be a guest on the award-winning radio show "Passages" the
first three weekends in October.
In the three programs, Brown talks about being a young woman growing up
in segregated Baltimore, about being mother of a physically and mentally
challenged son and two other healthy children, about her life in the
business world and about her husband, Tom, being supportive of her
vocations and avocations in life.
The three half-hour programs were produced by Dennis C. Benson out of
an interview by Presbyterian Media Mission (PMM) director Gregg Hartung.
"Passages" is heard on more than 670 radio stations nationwide each week
and is produced cooperatively by the Pittsburgh-based PMM and United
Methodist Communications.
