Transforming conference
set at San Diego church

			by United Methodist News Service

	Transforming Congregations will have its first conference on transformational
ministry for homosexuality on Jan. 24 at North Clairemont United Methodist
Church in San Diego, Calif.
	The keynote speaker is Joe Dallas, past president of Exodus International,
who describes himself as a former homosexual. Other speakers are Jim Gentile,
executive director of Transforming Congregations, and Donna Hopkins, a United
Methodist on the staff of New Creations, an ex-gay ministry in Fresno, Calif.
	The San Diego Christian Conferences on Trauma and Sexuality are co-sponsors
of the event.
