by Jerry L. Van Marter
The Rev. Andrea Pfaff, a longtime Presbyterian leader best known as the
former director of the former Evangelism and Church Development Ministry
Unit in Louisville, died Oct. 12 after a long bout with cancer.
Ordained to the ministry in 1976, Pfaff served as a campus minister, as
a missionary recruiter, and on synod and presbytery staffs in addition to
several pastorates. She also taught at Union Theological Seminary in
Richmond, Va., and at Florida State University.
A Memorial Service to the Resurrection was held Oct.16 at Hudson
Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, N.C., where Pfaff was serving as
Ministry Associate.
