    Adelaide Helen Anderson Romig died Dec. 9, 1998, in Elmwood, Wis., at 
the age of 91.   The wife of the Rev. Arthur Mathes Romig, the two served 
as missionaries in China and served parishes in Ohio, Maryland and 
California.  She is survived by five children: Elizabeth Nicholson of 
Seattle, Wash.; Donald A. Romig of Santa Fe, N.M.; Marilie Blanchard of 
Louisville, Ky.; Margaret Hagaman of Menomonie, Wis.; and Clifton C. Romig 
of Clio, Calif.  A memorial service will be held Jan. 16 at the First 
Presbyterian Church in Santa Fe.  Memorials may be sent to The Alzheimers 
Association or to the Harry and Lucy Romig Memorial Fund, College of 
Wooster, Wooster, Ohio, which provides scholarships for Chinese students.
