Financial Implications Presented to Commissioners
FORT WORTH-The second daily update on the financial implications of the
211th General Assembly was presented Thursday morning, June 24, by Elder
Phil Barnes, moderator of the Assembly Committee on General Assembly
Procedures. Barnes reported that the figures for the per capita budget
remained essentially unchanged since yesterday's daily update, as no
additional items with financial implications had been taken up by the
Assembly.
Those figures are $175,811 for the year 1999, representing an increase
of $.07 in the per capita apportionment, $114,361 for the year 2000, $.04
increase in per capita, and $30,148 for the year 2001, $.02 increase in per
capita.
Following a review of all the actions taken up by the Assembly, a
recommended per capita budget will be presented for approval on Saturday,
June 26.
