today on the death of the Rev. David M. Stowe.]

David M. Stowe missions fund set up; memorial service to take place Feb. 12
CLEVELAND -- The memorial service for the Rev. David M. Stowe,
executive vice president emeritus of the United Church Board for World
Ministries who died Jan. 10 in Englewood, N.J., will take place Sat., Feb.
12, at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church, a United Church of Christ
congregation in Haworth, N.J. The interment will be at Newton Cemetery,
Newton, Mass., on Monday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. Both the memorial service
and interment are open to the public.
In addition, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be
made to the David Stowe Missions Fund, c/o UC Board for World Ministries,
475 Riverside Dr., New York, NY 10115. An earlier press release named a
different fund.
