Peru: Over 3,000 Join Adventist Church in One Day
Lima, Peru... [ANN]
Over 3,000 Peruvians joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church on December 18,
reports pastor Samuel Saito, spokesman for the Adventist Church in Peru.
As a result of small group meetings and studies with pastors, 3,445 people
were baptized across Peru, including the cities of Nuevo Calamarca, Riola,
Moyobamba and Tarapoto.
"We give thanks to God for this victory of the gospel in Peru," says pastor
Raul Gomes, leader of the Adventist Church in Peru.
More than 45,000 new members were added to the Peruvian Adventist Church in
1999.
