AMERICAN BAPTIST CHURCHES RELEASES FUNDS 
FOR MOZAMBIQUE FLOOD RELIEF

 The American Baptist Churches USA World Relief Office 
has released $5,556 to Baptist World Aid for relief 
ministries to deal with the ongoing crises developing from 
massive flooding in the African nation of Mozambique. 
 The funds will be channeled through the Baptist 
Convention of Mozambique and used to provide water purifying 
tablets, medicines and food.
 Flooding and torrential rains following Cyclone Eline 
have affected some 800,000 people, and at least 150 deaths 
have been reported.
