Notice to Commissioners from the Presbyterian News Service:

	The Presbyterian News Service has reported on its VoiceLine news summaries
this week that First Presbyterian Church of Pearland, Texas, whose pastor is
the Rev. Winfield “Casey” Jones has in the past withheld per capita payments
to the General Assembly.  This report was based on incomplete information in
the General Assembly statistics and is incorrect.

	First Presbyterian Church of Pearland, Texas, has never withheld per capita
payments.  The Presbyterian News Service regrets any confusion and hurt this
erroneous reporting has created for the church, its pastor and New Covenant
Presbytery.
