New edition of Mission Yearbook is now available

Justice issues are featured in 2001 volume

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The 2001 edition of the Mission Yearbook for Prayer and
Study is now available.

	The theme of the 2001 book is "Let justice roll down like waters." (Amos
5:24).  A sixteen-page color insert featuring compelling photographs and
prayers on social justice by David P. Young highlights the theme.

	Other special features of the 2001 yearbook -- the 109th edition -- are
perforated pages for readers who want to remove pages to carry with them
when they travel; an introductory essay that introduces the social justice
issues addressed by the stories in the yearbook; and a personal message from
the moderator of the 212th General Assembly, the Rev. Syngman Rhee.

	Used by thousands of Presbyterians daily, the Mission Yearbook for Prayer
and Study includes stories and photographs of Presbyterians in mission in
the United States and overseas; minutes for mission on Lord's Day pages that
focus on liturgical themes and programmatic emphases of the PC(USA); prayer
lists of presbytery, synod, General Assembly and mission staff members, as
well as General Assembly Council members and Presbyterian partner churches;
daily lectionary readings and suggested hymns; a list of educational and
theological institutions related to the PC(USA); synod and presbytery maps;
