	The Rev. Isaiah Jones Jr., pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Palo
Alto, Calif., will be the featured speaker three times this spring on "The
Protestant Hour," a nationally broadcast radio program that is now also
accessible via streaming audio on the Internet.
	A series of three sermons by Jones will be broadcast April 22, May 20 and
June 17 on most participating radio stations and at www.protestanthour.com.
Each program features a five-minute interview with Jones.
	Known as an outstanding preacher, Jones began his ministry as a Southern
Baptist minister. Ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1985, he has
served Presbyterian congregations in both Los Angeles and the Bay Area. He
holds a doctor of ministry degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary.
	Jones also is a professional musician, songwriter and composer. Several of
his pieces will be featured on "The Protestant Hour" series.

	Best-selling author and noted philanthropist Patricia Cornwell has made a
$125,000 to Montreat Conference Center.
	Cornwell, who spent her childhood in Montreat, has designated her gift
toward the preservation and maintenance of Montreat's newly renovated tennis
courts.

	The Rev. Walter C. Sutton, a longtime veteran of Presbyterian publishing
enterprises, has been named interim coordinator for curriculum development
in the Congregational Ministries Division in Louisville. He began his new
work March 26.
	In a publishing career that spans 40 years, Sutton has been editor of
Presbyterian Survey magazine, editorial director of John Knox Press, and
associate editorial director for general and professional books of
Westminster/John Knox Press. He currently edits the Presbyterian Church
bulletin series. Sutton has served several pastorates and has also taught
journalism.
