The American Theological Library Association (ATLA) will hold its 55th
Annual Conference on June 20-23, 2001. Hosted by the Duke Divinity School,
the conference will take place at the Durham Marriott at the Civic Center in
Durham, NC. ATLA's Annual Conference offers librarians who specialize in
theology and religion unique opportunities for professional development and
collaboration. Three hundred fifty theological librarians will come to hear
papers, attend workshops and other sessions of interest, and network with
other members of the profession. Keynote speakers include Dr. Richard P.
Heitzenrater, Professor of Church History and Wesley Studies at Duke
Divinity School; and Ms. GraceAnne A. DeCandido, a writer, editor, teacher,
book reviewer, and speaker who currently works as an editorial and web
consultant in her own company, Blue Roses. For more information, please see
ATLA's conference pages at www.atla.com/conference.

Founded in 1946, ATLA is a scholarly, ecumenical, not-for-profit association
dedicated to advancing and supporting theological librarianship and research
in religion. For more information, visit the ATLA web site at www.atla.com
