Clarification

	In the General Assembly "backgrounder" on ordination standards, the
Presbyterian News Service chose not to report the number of concurrences
that have been submitted in support of overtures calling for the deletion of
G-6.0106b. That decision was made because concurrences are not formal
business before the Assembly for any kind of action.

	Two readers have questioned that decision.

	Twenty-four concurrences supporting the various overtures calling for the
deletion of G-6.0106b have been received by the Office of the General
Assembly.

	The list of overtures and concurrences can be found on the PC(USA) web
site, www.pcusa.org.
