The Henry Luce Foundation has awarded a grant of $330,000 to the American
Theological Library Association (ATLA) and the Association of Theological
Schools (ATS) for digital projects. The ATLA/ATS Digital Standards and
Projects Committee has initiated the ATLA Cooperative Digital Resources
Initiative (CDRI), which will establish a freely available, web-searchable,
central repository of digital resources contributed by participating
libraries, and will provide links to related free-standing projects,
available at no charge to the public. Member institutions and consortia of
both ATLA and ATS can submit proposals for digital projects until September
1, 2001, for evaluation. For more information, please contact Cameron
Campbell, ATLA Director of Indexes at (888) 665-ATLA or ccampbell@atla.com.

Founded in 1946, ATLA is a scholarly, ecumenical, not-for-profit association
dedicated to advancing and supporting theological librarianship and research
in religion. For more information, visit the ATLA web site at www.atla.com
or call (888) 665-ATLA.
