Former moderators gather at annual dinner

LOUISVILLE, June 11 - From newly-elected Moderator Jack Rogers to Clinton
Marsh, a moderator in 1973, former General Assembly moderators shared
remarks about the year's activities on Sunday night.

	They met for the annual dinner sponsored by the Presbyterian Foundation to
honor former moderators of the General Assembly. The dinner is the one
opportunity each year for the group to share hopes, dreams, and enjoy a
little fun with each other.  Former moderator, Ken Hall was the evening's
master of ceremonies.

	This year's participants included former moderators Freda Gardner, Pat
Brown, John Buchanan, Marj Carpenter, David Dobler, John Fife, Isabel
Rodgers, Bill Wilson, James Costen, Dorothy Bernard, Sara B. Moseley, Bob
Lamar, Marsh, Rogers, and Hall.

	A special message of love was sent to former moderator, Randy Taylor, who
has been undergoing treatment for cancer and related conditions.

	Former moderators who missed the dinner but attended some portion of the
Assembly included Doug Oldenberg, Syngman Rhee, Herb Valentine, and Bob
Bohl.
