Kids invited to create evangelism posters
Winning entries will be displayed around the church

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With Evangelism Sunday approaching on Sept. 30, the
Evangelism and Church Development Program Area (ECD)of the National
Ministries Division has announced a kids' "offering of posters."
Submissions will be divided into four age groups - ages 2-5, 6-10, 11-13 and
14-18 - and four will be selected from each age group to be published in the
ECD newsletter, Good News and in displays at the Presbyterian Center and
evangelism events around the country.
Deadline for submissions is Jan. 31, 2002.
Posters must be either 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17." Each submission should
include the name and age of the creator, their church's name and address and
the name of the presbytery.
Kids' posters must express what evangelism means to them and may utilize
poetry, drawings, collages, photographs or whatever form of expression they
choose. Posters not selected for national display will be returned to
presbyteries for display at local events.

A number of Evangelism Sunday materials are available from ECD. They include
such items as worship resources and a study booklet, The Good News Story.
