Far-flung workers report outpourings of sorrow and sympathy

LOUISVILLE - From all corners of the world, Presbyterian Church (USA)
mission personnel have expressed shock and disbelief over the unthinkable
horror of the Sept. 11 terror attacks on the World Trade Center and the
Pentagon.

They regret being unable to help at home or grieve in person with fellow
Americans, but have been comforted by the people of their host countries.
