By a vote of 107-80 on Nov. 13, the Presbytery of San Francisco restored
the Rev. Donald L. McCullough to active ministry in the Presbyterian Church
(USA).
McCullough was temporarily suspended from ordained ministry after he was
convicted May 5, 2000, by the Permanent Judicial Commission of San Francisco
Presbytery of two counts of sexual abuse, stemming from two simultaneous
extra-marital affairs while he was pastor at Solana Beach Presbyterian
Church near San Diego and after he was elected president of San Francisco
Theological Seminary in May of 1994.
McCullough resigned as president of the seminary shortly before his
conviction.
