by Jerry L. Van Marter

LOUISVILLE - Three Presbyterian women who have excelled in business, finance or economics as their Christian vocation will be honored during the upcoming General Assembly as this year's "Women of Faith."

The three - Nancy Aber Goshow of New York City, Susan d'Olive Mozena of Grosse Point Farms, MI, and Norma Ross of Dayton, OH - will talk about their work and faith at the annual Women of Faith Awards Breakfast sponsored by the Women's Ministries Program Area of the National Ministries Division, June 16 in Columbus, OH.

The event will also honor Jane Parker Huber, renowned Presbyterian hymn-writer and advocate for women.

Goshow is senior managing partner of Goshow Architects, an award-winning company that is one of the largest female-owned architectural firms in New York. A deacon at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in the Big Apple, Goshow was partner in charge of the restoration of the church, which won the 1992 President's Historic Preservation Award.

Mozena is senior vice president of operations of Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM), facilities which serve about 2,000 senior residents. PVM is notable for never having asked a resident to leave because of inability to pay. Mozena is an elder at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church in Grosse Pointe Farms.

Ross is the owner of The Bob Ross (automobile) Dealerships in Centerville, OH. She is the only African American female Merceded Benz franchise owner in the world and has trained both her daughter and son in senior management at the company. Ross is a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Dayton.

Jane Parker Huber has spent a lifetime in service to the Presbyterian Church (USA) at all levels and in a variety of positions. Special tribute will be paid for her recent service as interim associate director for women's ministries in the National Ministries Division in Louisville. Born to missionary parents in China, Jane currently makes her home in Hanover, IN, with her husband, Bill, a retired pastor.
