Heifer Project International has named Andrew Kang Bartlett, an associate for the Presbyterian Hunger Program in Louisville, to its board of directors.
Heifer Project is a 57-year-old nonprofit organization that works to alleviate hunger and poverty worldwide through the gift of livestock and agricultural training.

The Rev. Rosalie Potter, recently retired associate director for Evangelism and Church Development for the Presbyterian Church (USA), has been diagnosed with Amyothropic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease). ALS is incurable.

The National Ministries Division, through its Higher Education Program Area, has announced that two West Virginia campus ministers will receive the Presbyterian Church (USA) Higher Education Award for 2002.
The two honorees are the Rev. Robert Bondurant, who has been Presbyterian campus pastor at Marshall University since 1983, and the Rev. Charles Spring, who has been Presbyterian campus pastor at West Virginia University for 25 years.
Four additional persons have been named to the PC(USA) Higher Education Honor Roll. They are: Miriam Pride, president of Blackburn College and longtime officer in the Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities; Doris Liebert, a faculty member at Whitworth College in Spokane, WA; Robert D. Swanson, former president of Alma (MI) College; and William (Billy) Wireman, president of Queens College in Charlotte, NC.
