    GREEK ORTHODOX ARCHDIOCESE RELEASES FIRST EDITION OF VIDEO NEWS MAGAZINE

New York,NY ? The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America today announced the
release of the first edition of ILLUMINATIONS, a quarterly video  magazine
to be sent directly to dioceses and parishes by the end of May. Produced by
the Department of Administration in association with Greek Orthodox
Telecommunications, and sponsored by the Leadership 100 Endowment Fund,
ILLUMINATIONS is designed to project the Archdiocese, Dioceses and
ministries of the Church.

ILLUMINATIONS will be provided to parishes with instructions for group
viewing, thus enabling the Archbishop and Archdiocese to speak to all
parishioners nationwide. ILLUMINATIONS will traverse the nation and the
world offering an up close look at the work and ministry of parishes,
dioceses and the Archdiocese and show how hierarchs, priests and laity are
making a difference in the lives of others.  Segments and topics featured
in the first edition are:
