ABCUSA: Nathaniel Tyler-Lloyd, Pastor and Ecumenist, Dies

American Baptist News Service (6/6/02)--The Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Tyler-Lloyd,
senior minister of Trinity Baptist Church in Bronx, N.Y., and a vice
president of the Baptist World Alliance, died May 29 in New York.
Tyler-Lloyd had served the Trinity congregation for 42 years.
He had been a member of the American Baptist Churches USA General Board and
Board of Educational Ministries in the mid-1980s.
Long active in Baptist World Alliance work, he was elected a BWA vice
president in 2000 at the 18th Baptist World Congress in Melbourne,
Australia. He had been a member of the Executive Committee, the Baptist
Worship and Spirituality Commission, Baptist World Aid Committee and BWA
General Council.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 7 at Trinity Baptist Church.
