American Baptist News Service (6/27/02)--A short feature focusing on
American Baptists at First Baptist Church in Longmont, Colo., is scheduled
to air on The Hallmark Channel at 12 noon ET/PT on June 30 and Aug. 18.

The "Sowing Seeds" segment looks at Longmont member Yvonne Whisenhunt and
the five generations of her family (her grandfather to her grandchildren)
who are American Baptists.  Her granddaughter has leukemia and the church
has been a place of support, prayer and strength.  Longmont pastor, the Rev.
Roy E. Plummer, also is featured.

In addition the segment is available anytime at the Sowing Seeds Web

Sowing Seeds is the Emmy-nominated half-hour magazine series that highlights
