American Baptist News Service (7/8/02)--Services have been scheduled for the
Rev. Dr. Milton E. Owens Jr., well-known American Baptist leader,
consultant, author and a staff member for more than 30 years, who died July
2.

A viewing will be held 5-7 p.m Thursday, July 11, at Second Baptist Church,
Ninth Ave. and Merchant, Coatesville, Pa., followed by a Jubilee Service
there from 7-9 p.m.

A funeral will be held 11 a.m Friday, July 12, at Cornerstone Fellowship
Church, 101 Kylies Rd., Coatesville, Pa., preceded by a viewing there from
9-11 a.m.  Dr. William Shaw, president of the National Baptist Convention
U.S.A., Inc., and pastor of White Rock Baptist Church in Philadelphia, will
deliver the eulogy.
