"Harry was a very complete person. He lived his beliefs. Where most of us
just sit around and complain, Harry was very involved in social action and,
what I would call, things of the mind - all the way from things like the
Council on International Relations to games like Scrabble," said Presbyterian
writer Vic Jameson, who is also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in
Santa Fe.
Smith is survived by his wife, Etta; three children, Malcolm Smith of
Portland, Oreg.; Leslie Smith of Silver Spring, Md.; and Laurie MacGillivray,
of Los Angeles; and three step-children, David Lincecum of Los Angeles;
Debbie Jensen of Big Spring, Texas; and Doug Lincecum of Dallas.
Etta Smith may be reached at 118 Camino Santiago, Santa Fe, NM, 87501.
