Canon Jeffrey John withdraws his acceptance of the appointment to the See of
Reading

[ACNS source: Diocese of Oxford] Canon Jeffrey John has today announced that
he intends to seek the permission of the Crown to withdraw his acceptance of
the nomination to the suffragan See of Reading in the Diocese of Oxford. He
has written to the Bishop of Oxford setting out his reasons and the Bishop
has replied to him. Both letters are published on the Diocese of Oxford web
site.
