Robert M. Harting of Philadelphia joined the Board of Pensions as the
director of funds development on June 2.

Harting previously served as director of corporate relations for Temple
University in Philadelphia. He will be developing and coordinating fund
raising programs to support the assistance programs for the Board of
Pensions, which meet special needs of plan members that are not covered by
the regular benefits of the pension and medical, death and disability
plans.

The Congregational Ministries Publishing has announced the appointment of
Jennifer Stewart as production coordinator for Congregational Ministries
Publishing. She began her new work July 14.

Stewart, who has more than eight years' experience in publishing, will
oversee production of denomination publications such as We Believe, Bible
Quest, The Present Word curricula, the Mission Yearbook for Prayer & Study,
The Presbyterian Planning Calendar, Special Offering Resources, IDEAS
magazine, and other churchwide educational resources.
