On this second anniversary of the tragedies of September 11, let us each
turn to God in prayer for those who were, and those who continue to be,
victims. May we also rededicate ourselves to bringing peace with justice to
a world that is broken by hatred, bigotry and systemic injustice.
--The Rev. Richard L. Hamm, General Minister and President, Christian
Church (Disciples of Christ)
